Welcome To SkyTEK's updated home on the internet! This web-site is about providing you, the aircraft owner with some places to go for advice, and valueable service information that most do not provide in hopes to help you know how and where to get some help with your aircraft maintenance. And if you choose to bring it to us, which we hope you do, then I can pay the guy that lets us put up the site. Please be aware that throughout this web-site, unlike most that there will be a few of my personal thoughts sprinkled here and there... this web-site to me is not a coat and tie event. It is a living web-site that fits what I want it to and hopefully useful to you...after all, I am paying for it and your reading it for what its worth... Currently and likely, hopefully for a long time, we are in the process of updating several areas of this site, please bear with us over the next week or whatever time it takes as we bring all of the areas of this site online. It will reflect our diversified services and just maybe we have one you are looking for. If so, we will do our best to meet your needs and expectations in our shop while developing a good business relationship with you.
IF, you are looking for a CHEAP SHOP...we are NOT it. We do know some and if you want to give us a call, we will gladly refer you to them. However, we are conservative and strive to do the highest possible quality work for a fair price for our customers. We do not worry about cosemetic stuff on our customers aircraft, unless the customer does, but we try to pay the utmost attention to the airworthy items for a safe and airworthy aircraft. We easily have the capability to do first class aircraft restorations IF one wants to pay the bill. However, it is not our main course of business. Our main course of business is higher performance single and twin engine aircraft of all makes and models that we can get into our hangar, hopefully to soon move into a larger one. We are NOT a shot-gun troubleshooting shop and refuse to replace components or items we do not feel need replaced. Our staff is highly trained on TCM turbocharged engines in troubleshooting and repair and we seem to mostly get stuff that is hard to fix or others can't fix. With that in mind, if you have one of those issues, we will do our best to fix your aircraft/engine the most cost effective way, which is almost never cheap, but hopefully the best way for the money spent.
SkyTEK is located at the Fulton Airport, (FTT)in Fulton Missouri. The company has 5 full time mechanics who are highly trained and highly professional with a strong desire to care for our customers aircraft in the most cost effective way to assure an airworthy aircraft. I have decided to put alot of my experiences, troubleshooting technique's, everyday issues I have stumbled upon in the shop and alot of my self opinionated remarks on there. I am going to put info on TCM's service bulletins in there too with comments and troubleshooting tips I have learned through the years. Please bear in mind that when you read those items, that they are mostly my OPINIONS and the service information from the manufacturer's take precident for airworthiness considerations if there appears to be some conflict. Also, there is a place for your to send me an email and I will respond and help if possible. Suggestions are welcome.
